A group of teens proved our overprotective parents right about why our middle school selves were not allowed to go to the local mall unsupervised after a massive brawl broke out at a Southern California shopping center over the weekend.
A massive police response at Del Amo Mall in #Torrance this evening after reports of a large brawl where hundreds of teens gathered near the AMC theater. I counted at least 10 police agencies that responded from as far as Culver City PD. @kcalnews #DelAmo pic.twitter.com/WoFOfZLaQP

Police were dispatched to the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, California on Sunday after tens, if not “possibly hundreds” of teens began duking it out in broad daylight, local ABC News affiliate KABC-TV reported.

Though it’s unclear what, exactly, led to the brutal beatdown, which resulted in no serious injuries, the melee which started at roughly 4 p.m., took several hours to disperse, even after authorities arrived.
But even as these teens nurse their bruises, one question remains: Really? Right in front of our Auntie Anne's pretzels?
